Sandra and Reggie had their wedding in beautiful Destin, Florida and they couldn’t have chosen a better day or location. Everyone was so welcoming from the Bridal Party to their very professional and accommodating Planners to the guests who traveled from as far as California to witness their union!

I really enjoyed the spacious Penthouse for the Bridal Prep portraits and video as well as the Villa area for our Pre-Ceremony portraits. The wedding party was just fabulous … even the ‘Ring Bearers’ were dressed for the occasion.

There’s nothing like the Emerald Coast and its white sand beaches … my, my, my!

The weather was fantastic; even with the threat of rain. Moments before the wedding we noticed the rain had arrived but it missed us by several miles … off-shore! The storm clouds made for such a beautiful sunset which was very important to the Newlyweds!

Thanks Tosha for sending your sister our way! As many of you may know I’m the South Atlantic Regional Photographer and one of the National Photographers for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Whenever I get the chance to photograph one of my AKA sisters I jump at the opportunity. When Sandra called me and explained what she was looking for my face lit up! The wedding is set to take place in Destin, Florida and I just love love love me some Destin. The white sand beaches and the ‘never-too-hot’ weather makes Destin, Florida an ideal domestic getaway for the ‘Destination’ Wedding! Enough about Destin … now to the Dallas, Texas based Engagement Shoot. It was HOT! I mean a nice hot 95 degrees but we pulled it off. The Plane landed at 10:15am, we arrived at the Gardens by 10:45am and the magic started roughly around 11:30am (I was still trying to wake up). I was back home by 11:00pm!!! Okay so now I’m tired of typing. The photos are below.
